About
Jay earned his Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, after completing his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Associate Degree in Nursing from Louisiana State University of Alexandria.
His career spans leadership, clinical practice, and frontline emergency care. As Lead Clinical APP with SCP Health at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, he provided advanced practice leadership in the emergency department. Prior to that, he worked as a travel nurse in emergency departments across the U.S., bringing adaptability and clinical expertise to diverse patient populations.
Jay has also served as Clinical Director of Critical Care and staff/charge nurse in emergency and med-surg units, consistently demonstrating excellence in patient care, crisis management, and team leadership.
